Description | Informs James Brook that a letter has been addressed to the most eminent foreign meteorologists, and on reply, the Lords of the Committee of the Privy Council for Trade will be contacted. If there are no objections, the President and Council feel it would be desirable to deliver the letters through the Board of Trade. Lists the 11 meteorologists the letters will go to, as well as the mode of transport, by post or via Mr Stevens. See Council Minutes 15 June 1854. |
