DescriptionInforms that following Francis McClintock's application, a Committee consisting of Admiral [Robert] FitzRoy, Dr [Joseph Dalton] Hooker and Dr W A [William Allen] Miller was set up and voted £50 from the donation fund to assist in the purchase of meteorological instruments for the upcoming [Artic] expedition.
