States the Royal Society cannot shoulder the expenses with the contributions of the Fellows alone. As for the Government Grant, which has been voted by the government for the past few years, reminds the first Lord of the Treasury that the conditions of the grant is to be used to defray expense on existing experiments, and to publish papers in other publications other than 'Transactions'. |
