DescriptionInforms that the estimates of lithographing the illustrations of Richard Owen's paper 'On the fossil mammals of Australia.— Part I. (Thylacoleo carnifex, Owen)' will exceed £60. Explains Owen has been asked to reduce the illustrations, or it will need to be sanctioned by the Council. He has been informed that as editor of the 'Philosopical Transactions', Stokes will communicate with him. Mentions the discrepancy of the estimate cost of lithographing Owen's paper on Plerusauria (£5) and has informs the printers to delay the publication until they have heard from Stokes.
