DescriptionInforms that the President and Council have agreed to grant the 2 requested equipment to [George Biddel] Airy, the Astronomer Royal. Under the conditions that the equipment be placed in a fire proof room and are not to be touched other than for the purpose Airy has for them. That is, to create new standards for measurements and weights.
