| Description | In relation to the Committee set up in regards to the Transit of Venus in 1882. Informs that the Committee recommend carrying out of observation and appointment of an eminent individual to head the expedition. Also advises the creation of another Committee to decide where and when observations should be made. Informs that the Royal Society can advise on the composition of the Committee, should it be approved. |
