TitleLetter from T H Middleton, of the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries, to William B Hardy
Date1 February 1917
DescriptionEncloses a specimen of cheese submitted by Crowe -- says that Crowe has submitted a scheme for the production of this cheese, by which he would have the assistance of an advisory committee and be paid a fixed salary -- gives the amount of cheese produced with the bacteria as more per gallon of milk than with rennet and notes that it keeps for months -- suggests that the scheme be brought before the Committee and that a member might go to see Crowe's process.
