Notes the lack of help from the Oils and Fats department of the Ministry of Food -- notes that many trades are competing for the fatty acids, especially manufacturers of paint and soap -- mentions names of people who have been helpful -- notes experiments on feeding animals with fatty acids, and the work of Tulloch of the Olympic Mills in hydrogenating oils -- gives description of the product produced by Tulloch and tests being carried out on its digestibility and use.
