| Description | Geikie writes that he and the other officers of the Royal Society have decided to give the complaints of Captain Scott regarding the Meteorological Volume from the Discovery Expedition and Dr. Shaw's reply to Admiral Field for consideration, for Geikie views Fisk as unbiased in the matter. Geikie is enclosing a letter from Fisk, which he is also sending to Scott. He will advise Scott to drop the matter, and hopes that his friends will do the same, as he feels pressing the issue will only hurt the members of the Expedition. |
