TitleLetter from Hugh K [Kerr] Anderson, the Lodge, Gonville and Cauis College, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorAnderson; Sir; Hugh Kerr (1865-1928); British physiologist and university administrator
Date19 June 1920
DescriptionHe asks if Larmor could spare time to talk about mathematical teaching and research. He cannot suggest a time yet, but will write again. The Commission is coming on 3 August for a fortnight. He expects to get comments and criticisms on the future of several faculties. Mathematics presents several problems, where he would like Larmor's advice. Much depends upon the witnesses. He has in mind what Larmor said to Fisher about the guidance of research, although teaching has problems too.
