Description Dedicated to Dr Blagden, Secretary to the Royal Society, 12 December 1786. There are documents at the end of this volume proving that the author had a claim to the prior invention of a material for making flexible air vesels, as applicable to nautical purposes. A French memoir on the same subject, as well as a specimen of the material, are inserted.
