Description | View of the school house in which Sir Isaac Newton was educated. The buiding has six windows along its length with an entrance gate within a perimeter wall. A weathercock is visible upper left. Three figures are visible outside the school. Inscribed "GRAMMAR SCHOOL AT GRANTHAM LINCOLNSHIRE". Inscription verso, in pencil, reads: "Sir I.N. was educated at Grantham School founded by Bp. Fox". |
