DescriptionNotes his use of the Wedgwood copying process in producing two letters at once. Describes what he believes to be Jordan's method for recording barometrical observations. Sees several problems, to which he suggests solutions. Sopwith describes methods of taking records at intervals, using paper which had been saturated with photogenic drawing solution developed by Fox Talbot. The description is illustrated by drawings.
