Front: regrets to inform that the practice of the Royal Society renders the Council unable to accept his offer of a bust of William Spottiswoode to be placed on view at one of the meetings, but that they would be pleased for it to be placed on view at their next reception which was to be held on 20 March. Back: thanks Moysey for the return of the telescope [see MS/756/4] and informs they will send him £12 as reimbursement for his expenses.
