Informs that the Society gives it its support but cannot provide any funds. Back: refers to a letter from the First Commissioner of Works in reference to the tenure by the Royal Society of the observatory at Kew, and states they have accepted the conditions of tenure and will continue to look to the Kew committee to bear them.
