Description | Acknowledges a letter regarding the formation of a committee for the purpose of establishing a medal in honour of the scientific labours of Louis Pasteur but informs that the Royal Society has no funds at its disposal which it can apply to such a purpose. But since the Society considered it such a desirable undertaking, the President laid it before the fellows and ordinary members and he has reason to believe that several of them will be able to 'show their esteem for one whose work in science they so greatly admire'. |
