DescriptionMentions the Devil's Dyke and how its depth is made up of sandy gravel and shell debris. Agrees that a parcel from Cumbrae may be safely put with others he had sent on 15 and 16 July. Has done little with the foraminifera, and does not remember of any remark that would be of any interest. Describes his work. Sends two small samples by Brady's mother, and describes these. Will be working on other panels of the material and will send samples to Brady as he gets along.
