Title | Letter from John Murray, 28 Douglas Crescent, Edinburgh, to [Henry Bowman] Brady |
Date | 20 October 1890 |
Description | Returned from Belgium the previous Saturday. Does not think that the Royal Society of Edinburgh had any preference as to lithographic prints, but that their only question was about the charges being higher in one case than in another. Asks Brady to send him the papers by 1 December so they can be laid before the Council on their first meeting, where Murray will do the best he can to have them considered. Believes it might be better for Brady to say he will pay a half or two thirds of the total cost of the lithographs. |
