TitleLetter from A T Hollick, 28 Barnsbury Park, London, to H[enry] B[owman] Brady
Date4 November 1890
DescriptionApologizes for having troubled Brady by mentioning two prices [see MS/787/1/77] as he did not understand what Hollick meant, which was that if he did the work with high finish it would take him more time. However he does not wish to charge more than other artists so should be glad to know what Brady would consider a fair price for the plates. Hollick must earn his living and if he cannot be paid according to the time his work takes, he will be content to take what he can get for it. Has only one mode of working which is to do his very best. Feels that Brady had been a kind friend to him and after working for Brady for so many years he would gladly make some sacrifice to meet his wishes.
