DescriptionHad been making use of 'the unique and remarkable collection of the works on the Foraminifera' bequeathed on the Library by the late Henry Bowman Brady. Offers a copy of indexes he made of Brady's complete sets of tracings of the figures of many early and rare papers on the Foraminifera, which had not been in any order. Explains the system Brady had been using but left unfinished, and offer, in return for the hospitality and assistance offered to him by the Royal Society, to complete the Index begun by Brady. Asks the committee to consider this matter and to let him know whether his proposal is an acceptable one.
