DescriptionEnclosing the signed recommendation for Mr. [Abraham] Trembley, noting that Folkes should also sign as President. He is glad that the creatures [hydra] were put in the care of Wolters. He hopes they arrive safely, as he looks forward to seeing them. His nephew Keppel, who is at Fobert's Academy, has a governor, Mr. Faber, who has seen all of the experiments in the company of Trembley hundreds of times and is willing to give assurance. Their friend Dupree is sacristan to a French bawdy house in Covent Garden kept by Madame Triboullet, Folkes should ask Montague about it.
