Description30 strips of black and white photographic negatives of Nikolaas 'Niko' Tinbergen and the Oxford Animal Behaviour Research Group, 1968-1976, with a numbered index prepared by Lawrence 'Lary' Shaffer, which corresponds to numbers of the negatives.

Subjects of the photographs are as follows:
A gathering at Walney Island Field Base to celebrate the launch of a guide book to the Walney Nature Rreserve written by Michael and Barbara MacRoberts and Joost Tinbergen. Attendees in the photos also include Lies Tinbergen, Jimmy Rose the warden of Ravenglass Reserve and Walter Shepherd the Walney Reserve warden.

Number 13 Bevington Road, the headqaurters of the Animal Behaviour Research Group from 1968-1971.
