TitleLetter from Carl Braun, Mariaschein, Bohemia, to Charles Vernon Boys
Date15 June 1899
DescriptionHe has sent a copy of Professor [Franz] Richarz's work to Boys and to Poynting. Braun's labour is progressing slowly, and he notes difficulties with the aluminium arm. He hopes that Boys will be able to send quartz fibres and gives directions for their thickness. In his last letter he thanked Boys for the lead balls - he notes that the special permission of the Museum was required and asks that Boys pass on his gratitude to the Rector.
