TitleLetter from Andrew Russell Forsyth, Bailey's Hotel, Gloucester Road, Kensington, to Geoffrey Vernon Boys
Date20 March 1941
DescriptionForsyth's belongings are in a mess and are in a room with the windows shattered. Forsyth himself has retreated to one small quiet room where there is little space. Asks if Boys has compared the ratio of his strange numbers to the Naperian base. Forsyth has tried but has limited accesse to tables of logarithms. Modern tables are unfamiliar to him and he cannot see anything printed very close. Discusses Boys's remarkable coincidence of numbers. Forsyth does not wish to leave London as he could neither take his belongings with him, nor find warehouse space.
