| Description | Writes that they have been firing bullets against stretched copped wire with his 'little revolver' all afternoon. Confirms with Mackenzie Davidson that he wants a block of wood with a hole bored through it and three screws and three holes at the top and bottom in front of the hole. Notes that the wire can be renewed by simply winding a fresh length round and round in the thread of the screws. Further notes that he did not manage to meet with Mr. [C. S.] Crawley today, however, the particulars for the rotary break will be obtained nonetheless and the apparatus for the lecture given to Mackenzie Davidson as soon as possible in case anything needs to be altered. |
