TitleLetter from A. F. Spooner, Chartered Patent Agent, 323 High Holborn, London, to James Mackenzie Davidson
Date22 January 1908
DescriptionRefers to the 'mercury break'. Informs Mackenzie Davidson that he has not yet heard from Messrs Siemens Bros & Co., Ltd. Notes that a representative of the Medical Supply Company recently showed an interest in Mackenzie Davidson's break and suggests they would be the preferred option to Messrs Siemens Bros. The only issue is that the Medical Supply Company has no factory in the UK, and so would have to manufacture the break in Paris and then send it over, which is problematic with the new Patent Act. Notes that he relayed this to the representative of the Medical Supply Company who will come back to him with a fresh arrangement.
