TitlePostcard from A. A. Warden, to James Mackenzie Davidson
Date20th century
DescriptionAcknowledges Mackenzie Davidson's suggestion that he read [Freidrich von] Bernhardi's work and writes that he will not, knowing 'too well its kind', and arguing that arms alone cannot settle an international difference. Warns Mackenzie Davidson that his son will regret it for the rest of his life if he does not base his decision on right and on justice. Notes that he is not defending Germany, rather saying that 'we are all in the wrong. This war is a crime.'
