TitleLetter from Helena Gleichen, Hotel de Grands Hommes, Place de Pantheon, Paris, to James Mackenzie Davidson
Date5 August 1915
DescriptionAsks Mackenzie Davidson to order them one of his cross thread localisers, mentioning the discount he previously said he could obtain. Notes that they hope to get away soon, however, rules and regulations are working against them. Comments that the fact that they are women does not seem to be helping with their placement, and they will likely end up 'where others won't go for some reason'. Expresses frustration that they are without placement and orders, particularly considering they have the appropriate apparatus.
