DescriptionIn answer to Bell's applicaton of 23 December 1886, Rix as Assistant Secretary is directed to inform Bell that the matter was considered by the Library Committee at their last meeting and they do not find themselves able at present to add the name of Queen's University to their ever increasing list of institutions entitled to receive the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society'] and the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'.
