TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Silas Weir Mitchell, President, Philadelphia College of Physicians
Date2 February 1887
DescriptionWith reference to a letter received from Mitchell several months ago in which he applied for exchange of publications on behalf of the Philadelphia College of Physicians. Rix regrets that this with several other such applications was deferred owing to an extraordinary press of important business during the past year. The application was taken into consideration at the last meeting of the Library Committee but Rix regrets to say the Committee does not see their way at present to increase their too-lengthy list of institutions entitled to the Royal Society's publications.
