TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to an unknown correspondent
Date24 June 1887
DescriptionRix asks the correspondent to send someone at once to clear the gutters of the roof as a heavy rain will otherwise cause a flood. The Society would be much obliged if their correspondent would use their authority to prevent if possible the cooks and bedmakers at the Albany from throwing items out of their windows in the the Society's gutters. Rix would also like to urge the provision of ladders and platforms to some of the chimneys which cannot otherwise be swept safely or efficiently.
