The exact statistical statements contained in the enclosure will be most important in considering the chance of success in the event of an expedition to Benguella. Also sends thanks to the Portuguese Secretary of State through whom the information came, and the Director of the Meteorological Observatory of the Polytechnic School of Lisbon, who prepared a statistical return on the amount of cloud at Loanda at the time of year about which they are interested. |
