| Description | In reply to the Director's letter of 23rd January, addressed to Sir Joseph Lister, Rix regrets to say he cannot trace the paper required. No such paper by anyone named Hunt has been communicated to the Royal Society. Professor [William Chandler] Roberts Austen FRS, in 1891 communicated a paper in which alloys of aluminium and gold were treated of, but Rix knows of no other and thinks the paper may have been published by some other Society. |
