Description | In Flower's letter of 29th September 1894, Flower applied to the Council for the gift of five copies of volume X of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' and six copies of all succeeding volumes for the use of the Natural History Museum. The application was referred to the Catalogue Committee certain members of whom were under the impression that, since the application was made to the Council, the Syndics of Cambridge University Press has presented the Museum with these volumes.
