Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society |
Date | 1 April 1896 |
Description | Rix sends a letter from the Foreign Office which names the Japanese delegates, though they do not give addresses which prevents them posting the circular to delegates directly. He asks if Foster will draft a letter to Sir Thomas Henry Sanderson to inclose with the circulars, and also to include a request for addresses for future correspondence.
He also encloses a draft of a letter to the Portuguese Minister, but Rix is uncertain as to whether it is proper to communciate with him directly. Foster will see how the matter stands from the letter, and Rix believes will act accordingly. |
