DescriptionHarrison is directed to inform Crookes that the paper by Mr Donald M D Stuart, 'On Colliery Explosions produced by Coal-dust' is not considered suitable for acceptance by the Society. Under the new standing order, if Crookes withdraws in writing his wish to communicate the paper, it will be returned to the author, otherwise it will be retained in the archives of the Society.
