Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Robert Henry Scott, Fellow of the Royal Society, 6 Elm Park Gardens, S.W. |
Date | 2 November 1896 |
Description | Scott's note to Harrison was a mystery to him until he sent out and got a 'St James's Gazette' of Saturday evening.
Lord Kelvin [William Thomson] was at the Society on on Saturday and again today and is pretty certainly not seriously ill, but he did say he had been suffering from acute neuralgia which is however, getting better. Harrison is writing to Professor [Eleuthere Elie Nicolas] Mascart telling him this, and at Lord Kelvin's own request, thanking him for his enquiries.
Hopes Scott is better as he caught sight of him in a bath chair yesterday. |
