DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of MacGregor's letter, M.4272, of the 2 [June], stating that the Lords Commissioners of Admiralty are willing to allow Dr George Herbert Fowler, during the month of July, to take observations in the cold area on board HMS 'Research', off Orkney Islands. Dr Fowler has been requested to place himself in communication with the hydrographer on the subject.
