TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Professor Cargill Gilston Knott
Date13 January 1897
DescriptionRucker explains that Knott's suggestion that the abstract of his paper be extended to around 3000 words has been approved by the Sectional Committee of Physics and Chemistry on the understanding that it includes the material recommended by the referees to be published, in the shorter form they have proposed. He asks for the abstract for printing as soon as it is ready.

In a postscript he adds that the curves may also be published, providing he agrees to them being reduced so as not to fill more than one page of 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'.
