Description | Harrison is now able to return the correspondence that Burch lent him regarding Sir William Flower's tenure of the office of Royal Society Trustee for the Soane Museum [no items attached]. Privately informs Burch that Sir William Flower has intimated to Dr [Michael] Foster that on account of his health, he is anxious to retire from said office, and to undertake as few duties as possibly beyond the necessary demands of the British Museum.
Sends the official letter notifying Burch of the appointment by Council of Professor Church to the Trusteeship [not attached], and asks this to be laid before the Trustees. |
