DescriptionWith further reference to the editor's note of the 24th, Harrison is desired by the President [Lord Joseph Lister] to inform him that the question of commemorating the Queen's long reign is at present the subject of personal communication between himself and the President's of other learned societies, and the matter has not yet reached a stage to justify communicating the correspondence to the Press.
