DescriptionThe Society has received Meldrum's cheque for £4-2-0 covering his subscription to the Society and postage. Regarding the latter the Assistant Secretary [Robert Harrison] wishes James to say that postages are not charged to the Fellows on their 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', nor in general on any publications. Therefore asks Meldrum to alter and initial his cheque for £4 instead.
