TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Joseph Norman Lockeyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 May 1897
DescriptionThe summons for the first meeting of the British Catalogue Committee having been issued before the last meeting of the Council, Harrison fears Lockyer may not have received official notice of Thursday's meeting, which the Secretaries trust Lockyer may be able to attend as one of the five delegates of the Society.

Harrison believes that Dr [Michael] Foster has already informed Lockyer that the Council, at their last meeting, nominated their five delegates from last year's conference to represent them on this Committee. Harrison encloses the invitation which has been sent out to the members of the British Catalogue Committee [not attached].
