DescriptionAgainst the practice of the [Royal] Society for Secretaries to give reasons for the acceptance or rejection of papers. Every precaution is taken to ensure the accuracy of the decision arrived at. By sending in a paper an author submits themselves to the judgement of the Society. Rucker can only assure Andrews that his paper was dealt with in the ordinary way.
