TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor E Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date19 May 1898
DescriptionHas not had a response from Lankester following Harrison's request for names of provisional referees for Mr Vernon's paper on "The Relations between the Hybrid and Parent Forms of Echinoid Larvae". If Lankester could do this then the paper can go through meaning that there will then be justification for Lankester's Committee as Mr Tomes' second paper is now ready for a decision.

If, regarding Tomes' paper, Lankester thinks it is best to act under Standing Order 43 and advise to proceeding with the publication of the paper it would save time. Since the paper was presented at the request of the Committee there is likely to be little objection to this course.
