| Description | Has learnt this week of the arrangements which formerly subsisted between the Messrs and Messrs Herries, Farquhar and Company, by means of which any transactions between them and the Society were equivalent to direct transactions with Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company, do not subsist with Lloyds' Bank, into which Ferries' firm has been absorbed. Is directed by the Treasurer [John Evans] to ask if the Messrs might renew with Lloyd's Bank the arrangement formerly made with Messrs Herries, Farquhar and Company. |
