|Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society
|13 October 1897
|The offer of the Government to send the National Physical Laboratory will have to come before Council on the 27th, it is important the Society has all the facts before it. Has asked the Kew Committee to deal with the matter from the point of view of the Gassiot Trust and has just received the enclosed letter from Galton [not enclosed]. Asks if Evans will place the trust in the hands of Kempe or some competent lawyer, and Harrison will forward a copy of the Treasury letter and report of the Committee.
