|Description||In reply to letter referring to a recent Conference held at the Treasury with respect to the protection of Government Observatories from the effects of electrical traction, and enclosing a copy of a draft clause for insertion in Bills promoted by COmpanies using electic power. The President and the Council consider the clause as drafted to be satisfactory.|
The President and Council assume that the protection to be afforded to the Kew Observatory will 'a fortiori' be extended to that institution when it becomes the National Physical Laboratory.
