DescriptionLord [Joseph] Lister has just received a letter from the Treasury saying that the Society is to have £45,000. Under these circumstances it is obvious that the Antarctic Committee ought meet again and consider what should be done. Understands Clements is going abroad but wonders if he might be willing to come back for a short time. Encloses a copy of the letter from the Treasury [not attached].
