DescriptionIn a recent report by Love on a paper by Mr Filon, a passage occurs [typed below letter] stating that the author's list of those writers who have used curvilinear co-ordinates for the torsion problem omits McDonald 'The Torsional Strength of a Hollow Shaft', Trans. Camb. Phil. Soc., Vol XIV or XV. The author cannot find the paper in the stated volumes. Harrison queries if Love can correct the reference.
